The durability of flooring products as related to traffic wear takes into consideration many factors. Abrasion resistance; resistance to gouging, punctures, cuts and impacts; rolling and sliding (dynamic) loads; and standing (static) loads affect the life of the floor. To determine the relative durability of Armstrong commercial flooring products, the above factors are measured against the known performance of other Armstrong resilient floors used in commercial applications for many years.
